 WA Group Training School-Based Apprentice/Trainee of the Year

 WA Group Training Metropolitan Host Employer of the Year

 WA Group Training Regional Host Employer of the Year

 Mark Allen Memorial Trust Safety Award**

Mark Allen Memorial Trust Safey Award

Judging for this category will not be completed as a seperate application; rather judging will be based on the submitted applications of all Apprentices and Trainees fo the other categories (above).  Candidates will be assessed of the strength of the information and examples of OH&S identified within the application.

Requirements of all submissions are:

• A completed and signed Nomination form
• A completed Application which addresses the selection criteria
• Appropriate references, evidence of achievments, examples of work etc.
• Current photo (Apprentice/Trainee) or company logo (Host Employer)

Eligibility

Nominees for an Apprentice/Trainee category must be currently in training or have completed not more than six months prior to the date of the application.  A Host Employer nominee must be currently associated with a member GTO.

Nominations may only be made by a GTO which is a current financial member of GTAWA (Inc), now and at the time of the Awards.

Assessment

All nominations will be reviewed by an impartial judging panel.  Candidates will be assess mainly on the strength of the written application firm and supporting material.  However, the selection panel may, at its discretion interview or visit a nominee.  The decision of the panel is final and will be based on the selection criteria.

Presentations

All nominations will be acknowledged, with finalists notified and invited to the State Awards presentation and Annual dinner on Friday 17th September.  All finalists will be acknowledged on the night and the winners announced.
