They'll find you a position with a business (called a "host employer") and arrange your off-the-job training with TAFE or a private registered training organisation.

GTO's also look after your wages, superannuation, worker's compensation and other employee benefits, and most importantly they monitor your progress and offer support throughout the term of your Apprenticeship or Traineeship.
